Incorrect Size Selected
Bracelets/Anklets: If the wrong size is selected, please contact Rico Designs via email to organise a resize. In the case of a larger size being needed, you will be charged for the extra size variation. In the case of a smaller size being needed, no credit notes or refunds will be given. All items are made to order, so if a new size is required, your item will be pulled apart and remade. This uses more material and silver (to close off ends), it also requires more time. It is for this reason that a $15 remake fee will be charged and no refunds/credits are given for size variations differences. Please take time to measure and choose size carefully.
In the event that you are not happy with gemstones that are selected for your piece, this is considered a personal/subjective opinion. You are more than welcome to send back and have the piece remade using a different gemstone. Remake fees or restock fees will apply and shipping is at the expense of the customer.
Rings: Rings can not be resized. If in the event you have selected the incorrect size, an exchange may be possible if the desired ring size is still in stock. Please make contact with Rico Designs within 1 week of order to have a ring in your size put aside. Rings can not be exchanged outside of this 1 week time period. If the desired ring size is not available, a credit note will be arranged (Strictly no refunds). Ring must be unworn and have no signs of wear or scratches. All items must be returned in original packaging.
Rings with stones. If you believe on receiving a stoned ring that the stone has a crack/fault in it. You MUST contact Richelle within a few days of receiving the ring. Outside of this period, it becomes more likely that the ring has been worn and knocked which can result in damage. It is important that you inspect all stones as soon as you receive your ring. If a ring is a gift, please still check the stone straight away. Failure to do so will most likely tip you outside of the warranty window and returns will NOT be accepted.
Hand stamped items: Any piece of jewellery that is hand stamped and made to your request can NOT be returned/exchanged. These items are made to your order requirements therefore, can not be returned if incorrect size is selected. Please measure carefully. Examples of these custom orders are The attributes necklace, The Lana Bangle, Solar Bangle.

The cord used to string your beautiful jewels will relax and stretch over time. Rico Designs accepts pieces back (regardless of warranty period) to be restrung and tightened so you can keep on wearing your Rico Designs pieces for years to come. However, this does incur a $15 base fee + any silver/stones that needs to be added back in + return shipping. Shipping to Rico is the responsibility of the customer. All items are sent back via Australia Post regular shipping for a $11.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS/ What is a manufacturing Fault?
Every item that is sent out is quality controlled. All pieces except rings are made by Richelle the designer and creator of Rico Designs. Rings are designed or samples are made by Richelle and made by her affiliated manufacturer.
Rico Designs will accept the return of all defective items excluding rings for a repair up to 6 weeks from the receipt of purchase. If pieces are missing please try to collect as many loose items as possible as there may be a price difference if any silver or gemstones are missing. In the case of missing silver Richelle will remake the item as similar to the original as possible and charge the difference in silver weight per gram (In some cases the the exact components may not be available but Richelle will attempt to keep it as close to the original as possible). An item must be returned for repair/exchange to take place, nothing can be done if you have lost the item or if it gets lost in transit. Please choose a tracking option.

Sterling Silver Chain: Sterling silver chain is very fine and subject to breakage if pulled, caught on something, caught in hair etc. Due to the fine nature of sterling silver chain, it is not covered as a manufacturing fault if breakage occurs. Sterling silver chain is delicate and must be treated with care. If clasps or connecting rings break within the 6 week manufacturing warranty period then this will be repaired under the manufacturing warranty.
‘Sterling silver’ will tarnish a lot faster than the ‘pure silver’ items available at Rico Designs. Exposure to water or chemicals found in many house hold cleaners, cosmetics, perfumes and hair care products can speed up the tarnishing process. It is recommended that you remove your jewellery when cleaning the house, having a shower, putting on makeup or swimming (especially chlorine). Storage is also an important factor to prevent silver tarnish. Store in air tight bags (like the little plastic bag that comes with fine chains or rings) and in a dark place. If tarnish occurs, never fear, it can be cleaned. Please see silver care for instructions on how to do this.
If an item has a manufacturing fault and is within the 6 week warranty period you will be reimbursed return shipping upon return of item. If not a manufacturing fault or outside the 6 week warranty period, the customer will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return the item. It is highly recommended that a trackable method is used to return any items and all items are sent in the original packaging to avoid damage. If the package does not reach Rico Designs safely the exchange will not be able to be completed and Rico Designs will not be held accountable for any missing items.
Please don’t send any items back in a letter envelopes, as these can easily be ripped open. Padded envelopes are best or Australia Post plastic sachets.
